This project was for the train station in Waterford. It was a commemoration for a leader of the 1916 rising and a legend in Irish history, Joesph Mary Plunkett which was also the name of the Waterford train station.
We added a famous quote from his peom ‘I see his blood upon the rose’ with a mural depicting the man beside it.
The artwork is seen daily by a vast amount of commuters, Tourist and travelers. Almost a welcome sign as you enter the beautiful county of Waterford. The artwork was consequently published in an Irish book called The Centenary, which marked the nation wide event in 2016.
