What started as a slightly tipsy New Year’s Eve idea, to set a creative goal for the year, turned into something much bigger than I expected. A year long journey.
A Year Long Journey
Researching the stories, gods, festivals, and symbolism behind each month has been a total joy. It’s been a great excuse to dive into some fascinating history and bring it to life through art.
Painting in the same spot each time has also made Liberty Lane feel like a little community. I’ve come to recognise the regular passersby, and the chats and encouragement along the way have meant a lot.
