The book highlights the incredible range of over 3,500 events that took place across Ireland and beyond. Illustrating the profound impact of this historic milestone on the nation’s collective memory.
Beyond the 1916 Rising, the book also delves into other key historical commemorations, particularly those marking the First World War and the Battle of the Somme. By doing so, it explores the broader historical context of the period and how Ireland’s history is deeply intertwined with global events.
