Opium Rooms
One of our most exciting and ambitious projects was for Opium Rooms, a renowned nightclub and restaurant in the heart of Dublin city center. The owners wanted to infuse the space with a Japanese-inspired aesthetic, so we developed a series of concept mock-ups to align with their vision. Once they saw the designs, they were absolutely thrilled and eager for us to bring them to life.
This project was no small task. It involved transforming four interior walls, a roof, a small section of glass, and large wooden boards in the smoking area. Each surface required careful planning to ensure the artwork flowed seamlessly throughout the venue. We worked closely with the owners to refine the details, making sure every element complemented the club’s unique atmosphere.
The design and spraying process took several weeks of intense work, but the end result was nothing short of spectacular. The vibrant murals completely transformed the space, adding a striking visual identity that sets Opium Rooms apart. When the nightclub is packed with energy, the artwork comes to life, amplifying the venue’s electric vibe.
Beyond just enhancing the atmosphere, the artwork became a major attraction. Club-goers regularly stop to admire and snap photos beside the murals, turning them into an iconic feature of the venue. The fusion of bold Japanese influences with the club’s dynamic setting makes for an unforgettable experience, drawing in both regulars and new visitors alike.
Looking back, this project was a huge success. Not just in execution but in how it elevated Opium Rooms’ aesthetic and reputation. It’s always rewarding to see artwork become an integral part of a venue, creating an immersive and visually stunning environment.
